FAQ

What is a credit?

A credit is the unit you pay requests with. Lookups cost 1 credit, lists (referring domains, backlinks, anchors) 2, full-text search 3. The cost table is above on this page.

When are plan credits renewed?

On the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC. Unused plan credits don't roll over; credits from packs never expire.

What happens when I run out of credits?

The API will answer 402 insufficient_credits. Buy a pack or upgrade your plan — credits are added right after payment.

Are credits charged for errors?

No. If a request fails because of an error on our side or at the data source, the credits are returned automatically.

How do I change or cancel my subscription?

In your account, click “Subscription & invoices”: there you can change your plan or card, download invoices or cancel. After cancellation the paid plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then the account moves to Free.

How does payment work?

Payments are handled by Stripe — card details are entered on Stripe's secure page and never reach our servers. An invoice is emailed to you after every charge.
